About

the new 8,000 m2 production plant and creative hub on the outskirts of Rome where the brand’s manufacturing atelier has always been located.

The new headquarters originates from the dream of the Founder – Roberto Ziliani – to create an osmotic layout in which all departments were as integrated and transparent as possible. The company has 30 assembly lines, 7 cold cutting machines, a portfolio of 540 references, approximately 20 professionals involved in Research and Development and another 60 resources involved in Business Development, Production and Administration. The beating heart of the new Slamp Hub is the “Via della Luce”, a sensorial and experiential path between the production lines, which allows guests to discover how a lamp is created, from concept to shipping.

The project created with lattonedil panels in metallic black colorcoat to highlight the material, originality and color that have always distinguished SLAMP production

THE PROJECT

“We chose to build large skylights and windows to let in as much light as possible, reserving the dark areas for product testing.

We surrounded ourselves with 15-meter bamboo to create our happy place, and we put a pink gorilla in the middle.

We opted for an external architecture in the style of a “data center” from Silicon Valley, with this metallic black finish but we contaminated it with colorful works of art – like the perimeter sculpture by Jacopo Foggini that at sunset seems to transform the company into a space rocket”.
