A propos de<\/span><\/p>\n

Le Centre d’art contemporain de Turin est le principal lieu d’exposition de la Fondation depuis son inauguration en septembre 2002. Le Centre est situ\u00e9 dans le quartier de San Paolo et a \u00e9t\u00e9 construit sur l’ancienne zone Fergat, pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment occup\u00e9e par des installations industrielles d\u00e9saffect\u00e9es. La Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo a acquis le droit de superficie pour 99 ans. <\/p>\n

Le b\u00e2timent se caract\u00e9rise par l’essentialit\u00e9 de ses espaces, sp\u00e9cifiquement con\u00e7us pour contenir et exposer l’art d’aujourd’hui, r\u00e9alis\u00e9s selon le principe de la polyvalence et de la praticit\u00e9 de gestion. L’horizontalit\u00e9 du b\u00e2timent permet de g\u00e9rer efficacement le fonctionnement et la routine quotidienne d’un centre d’exposition : du transport et de l’installation des \u0153uvres \u00e0 la facilit\u00e9 d’acc\u00e8s pour le public. <\/p>\n

L’id\u00e9e qui sous-tend la r\u00e9alisation du Centre est d’offrir \u00e0 la ville de Turin un espace pour l’art contemporain au niveau international, qui puisse jouer un r\u00f4le similaire \u00e0 celui jou\u00e9 en Allemagne par les Kunsthallen, ou en France par les Centres d’Art Contemporain, en agissant comme un lieu de rencontre et un forum pour le public et les nouvelles g\u00e9n\u00e9rations d’artistes, de critiques et de commissaires d’exposition.<\/p>\n

Le travail effectu\u00e9 sur la structure existante avec le syst\u00e8me lumineux Giano a permis de r\u00e9nover la fa\u00e7ade tout en conservant les m\u00eames valeurs que le projet de 2002.<\/p>\n

Giano light est le panneau de rev\u00eatement qui permet de conjuguer l\u00e9g\u00e8ret\u00e9 et grand format avec des surfaces \u00e0 fort impact esth\u00e9tique et \u00e9motionnel.
La finition en gr\u00e8s compos\u00e9e de terres naturelles, choisies dans les m\u00eames tons que le projet original, associ\u00e9e \u00e0 un panneau de renfort stable et robuste qui rend la fa\u00e7ade thermo-ventil\u00e9e. Giano light, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa l\u00e9g\u00e8ret\u00e9, est facile \u00e0 d\u00e9placer et simple \u00e0 installer ; il permet d’habiller aussi bien l’architecture int\u00e9rieure qu’ext\u00e9rieure, en restant inalt\u00e9rable dans le temps m\u00eame s’il est soumis \u00e0 de fortes contraintes, \u00e0 des chocs, \u00e0 l’usure et \u00e0 l’alt\u00e9ration du temps. <\/p>\n

Ce b\u00e2timent ne suit pas la tendance contemporaine d’une architecture affirm\u00e9e et sensationnaliste ; il se manifeste au contraire par une forme lin\u00e9aire.<\/p>\n

Le projet se caract\u00e9rise par une configuration volum\u00e9trique similaire \u00e0 celle d’une usine ou d’un atelier typique du nord de l’Italie : un long hangar de 9 m de haut, s’\u00e9tendant horizontalement sur un seul niveau sur une longueur de 130 m\u00e8tres.<\/p>\n

De minces fentes vitr\u00e9es, d\u00e9coup\u00e9es \u00e0 intervalles r\u00e9guliers dans la longue fa\u00e7ade sud, rompent la monotonie de la poutre du toit.<\/p>\n

L’espace d’exposition total est de 1100 m\u00b2. Autres espaces : une salle de conf\u00e9rence de 150 places, une librairie, une salle de conf\u00e9rence, un restaurant, une salle Internet, un bar\/caf\u00e9t\u00e9ria.<\/p>\n
