Una dichiarazione ambientale di prodotto (EPD) \u00e8 un rapporto completo, armonizzato a livello internazionale e verificato in modo indipendente che documenta i modi in cui un prodotto, durante il suo ciclo di vita, influisce sull’ambiente.<\/p>

Un EPD racconta la storia del ciclo di vita di un prodotto in un unico rapporto scritto, concentrandosi sulle informazioni sugli impatti ambientali di un prodotto, come il potenziale di riscaldamento globale (GWP), la creazione di smog, il potenziale di riduzione dell’ozono (ODP) e l’inquinamento dell’acqua.
